Chongqing General Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. boasts a century-long development history. Centered on turbomachinery technologies and products, it is a large state-owned high-end equipment manufacturer with first-class industrial technological innovation capacity and independent intellectual property rights. The company operates a nationally recognized enterprise technology center, and has been awarded titles including one of the 3rd batch National Demonstration Enterprises for Green Design of Industrial Products, National Level-I Specialized, Refined, Unique & Innovative Giant Enterprise, National Technological Innovation Demonstration Enterprise, National Intellectual Property Demonstration Enterprise and National Industrial Brand Cultivation Demonstration Enterprise. It hosts the Chongqing Key Laboratory of Intelligent Technology for High-efficiency Centrifugal Compressors (MIIT), Chongqing Turbomachinery Engineering Technology Center and a postdoctoral research station. The company engages in the design, manufacture and sales of centrifugal refrigerating units and systems, plate-tube evaporative cooling air conditioning units, centrifugal compressors, blowers, centrifugal fans, complete environmental protection equipment and related projects, Class D1 and D2 pressure vessels. It also provides services for air pollution control as well as noise and vibration control.

Through years of innovative development and technological accumulation, CQGI has established a complete independent design and R&D system. It has built professional R&D teams covering aerodynamics, acoustics, structure, materials and manufacturing processes, and accumulated extensive experience in turbomachinery design, development and fabrication, enabling industry-leading product development capabilities. The Group has built a top-tier turbomachinery engineering inspection and service center in Southwest China, equipped with an intelligently controlled test platform for centrifugal fans and blowers certified by CNAS, as well as an advanced domestic test rig for large centrifugal compressor model stages. These facilities support CQGI’s full capacity for precision machining, inspection & analysis, final assembly and testing of high-end equipment, making it a pioneer in technological innovation across multiple product segments.
