HE Harbin Power Plant Valve Co., Ltd. is the vice-chairman unit of the Valve Branch of China General Machinery Industry Association. Founded in 1954, it evolved from one of the 156 key construction projects aided by the former Soviet Union during China’s First Five-Year Plan period.

It has gone through four historical stages: the Second Workshop of Harbin Boiler Works, Valve Branch Factory, Power Station Valve Development Division and Harbin Boiler Valve Co., Ltd. In January 2008, it was officially renamed HE Harbin Power Plant Valve Co., Ltd. It is now one of the important subsidiaries of Harbin Electric Corporation.
